Our photography retreats are all about the holistic experience – giving you the perfect balance of input, tuition and challenge against space, time and guidance to explore. All sustained by amazing locally sourced food, prepared by chefs with a passion for flavour and nutrition.
New dates coming soon
We have temporarily paused our retreats until we feel we can deliver the same quality of experience whilst appropriately mitigating the risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. In the meantime we are now back up and running with our non-residential programme, more info here.
During the photography retreat we will have guest speakers/facilitators to challenge and develop your photographic thinking, as well plenty of time to simply enjoy the surroundings and relax with like-minded people.
You’ll be staying in carefully selected, comfortable and perfectly located accommodation.
– Tuition from Chris Lucas
– Two nights accommodation on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis
– Packed lunches on days 2 and 3
– All local transport by private vehicle
We get out in all weathers, and teach you how to get the best photographs in all conditions, while looking after yourself and your kit. Experience has shown, however, that people learn best when they can return to comfort. With that in mind, all our accommodation is carefully selected to provide a safe haven to return to after a busy day in the wilds taking pictures. It is important to us to provide a space where students can reflect on the day, socialise, learn from each other and relax in tasteful surroundings.
Our photography retreats include delicious breakfasts and dinners prepared locally from sustainable sources. We want you to feel looked after, have your own space if you want it, and to not have to worry about anything so that you can focus on your photography.
We have big plans for international photography retreats and expeditions.
